Where did you get the flexi pipes and were they special order?
I had to drop the steering arm off from the hub to fit the banjo, but no big deal.

I had them made up by https://furoreproducts.co.uk/

In preparation for putting the engine and gearbox back in, I fitted a load of cable tie saddles around the engine bay and down both sides of the tunnel to carry the wiring loom. All pop riveted on with a good blob of silicone in the hole first. Much easier to do now with nothing in the way!

I have been a bit busy today, but managed an hour tonight to do some reassembling.

Alternator brackets, alternator and new vee belt fitted. The belt is a touch long, it will do for a start but needs to be about 10-15mm shorter

    The dipstick was next

    Then the starter motor

Lastly I refitted the gear selector, mounting bobbins and bracket to the gearbox

While there is still room, I decided to weld in a total of 10 earthing point studs around the chassis in various locations.

One under each back corner for the rear lights

One under the fuel tank at the sender end

One under the fuel tank at the pump end

One each side in the front corners of the engine bay

One each side in front of the engine bay in the radiator area for the lights, fan, horn etc

Finally one each side at the rear of the engine bay in front of the tunnel

I finished off by refitting the mounting brackets to both sides of the engine

I'd have taken the opportunity to mount the gear selector with solid bushes but that may just be due to a bad experience with rubber/plastic ones

They have all been replaced with brand new rubber ones so I am sure they will be good for a few years of limited mileage and dry storage

I wish I'd added earth points and cable tiedowns before fitting the body to mine - well thought out, you can tell this isn't your first time to the rodeo

I did chuckle though.. earth points, smothered in paint That must be that special conductive chassis paint...

    IVA advice

    Kuga,

You need to move this pipe, cannot touch and its also too close to the chassis mate.

    Otherwise looking good, enjoy buddy.
