Thanks. It has been uncomfortable as I have never done anything like this before. There is a lot of work to do on the arch yet to get it nice and smooth/flowing. But a rewarding challenge that I am enjoying so far!

There has been a lack of opportunity for garage time the last couple of weeks which is a bit frustrating. But I did get a little bit of time this evening so I started shaping and trimming one of the rear wheel arch liner panels.

Now the heatwave has gone, I got some time in the garage this afternoon and got busy with matting, resin and fumes!

First of the rear arch liners glassed in.

I have been thinking about how to bolt down the fuel filler cap because access to the area between the top of the fuel tank and the underside of the body is non existent due to the nature of the boot and rear bulkhead panels.

I decided to make up a captive ring.

Roughly shaped up and ready for drilling and tapping

I then bonded it onto the underside of the body

Fuel filler cap now fitted. It needs a cover ring making for IVA at some point

A bit more glassing in the rear arch with the focus now turning to the front area

The next hurdle is to fill this gap at the front of the arch in the outer corners behind the seats

So I made up a cardboard template and then laid up a panel ready to fit
