I trimmed off my freshly made panel and squeezed it into position. It was too upright at the top section underneath the arch and needed bending towards the back of the car to follow the profile better. So with it in position I used a heat gun to soften it which then allowed me to bend it to a better shape.

Next is to make up a small section to close off the gap at the bottom. I could not make the large panel to fill this area as I would not have been able to feed it into position.

Once that smaller section is made I can then glass it all in

I glassed in the new arch liner panel

I also glassed in half of the rear bulkhead behind the seats at the top

    And at the bottom

I have also glassed the wheel arch panel on the front side connecting it up to the rear bulkhead

Once all of this had gone off I unloaded a tube of carbond around all the joints to make sure everything is nicely sealed

Whilst I was high on resin fumes I decided to have a look at one of the doors.

First job was to trim out the aperture

Next was to trim off the mould lines on the door and also the top sections of the body where the door joins. Then I offered up the door to the opening.

Plenty of work to be done to make a nice fit.
Below is a photo of the worst area, the top of the door where it meets the scuttle.

With the passenger side rear arch glassing work complete for now, I popped the build wheel back on and then shifted the car on the skates to the other side of the garage to gain access to the drivers side rear arch.

I fetched out the inner arch liner panel and spent some time trimming it to shape/size. Once this was done I wedged it into position and started glassing it in.

Outer edge and joint to boot panel done

Half of the top edge done onto the underside of the arch

    Liner to boot panel

I also reused my template and laid up a new panel to close the front of the arch off
