My vote is #1, I think it looks more 'period' somehow.
I'll measure my Dax later for you.
Could someone cheek for me the offset of number platte light area in butlid?
I heve idea to make a number platte holder and need to know this distance in few others makes. My light is now lifted up for more space, so the distance has been changed.
I've drawn 3 options:
which one would you prefer? or 4th option No 2 with no letters.
cheers
Andrzej

Er.. I take that back - I just remembered where the boot lid is currently living (in the roof space of the garage)! Hopefully someone else can measure a Dax boot lid![]()

I got the boot lid down today - the light recess is ~9.5mm below the surface of the boot lid immediately below it.

Thanx aaronjb, it's deeper than i thought, but I'd like to do it universal for diferents makes, so will wait for others.
Number 3 for me, nice idea. I’d buy one.
Hi, I too like the first one. IMHO it does not need the letters. I will also be lifting the number plate light as per your first photo.
Are you going to be supplying a few of these?
Thanks,
