    Hello Jon,

Ronnie here....just up the road near Braehead/Forth.
Been down to Bigger a good few years ago with several of my old Cobras

The Dax chap got back to me and said it was sold last week.....Blast.

I thought it was you who bought it and I was going to ask to borrow it to take a mould.
I had one of these tops on my old Cobra and it looked great.

    Speak again
    regards
    Ronnie

    Hi Ronnie
Seems the trail has gone dead : - (
John knox has just contacted me to say he has sold the Sumo bubble top but could make a Dax hard top for me
No Idea what the Dax hardtop looks like so unwilling to proceed
    Shame really
We will just have to carry on the search for a bubble top and If either of us are successful take a mold off for each other
Good luck with the search for the Grail

I believe the hardtop that Dax make is the Le Mans style one. There was a picture of it a while ago, unless they have changed it since.

Friend of mine in France is also after a Hardtop so if anyone's making a molding let me know. I can take a molding if anyone wants to lend one out, Ive got sufficient gear here to do it.? Mine got smashed to smithereens in the storm when a tree fell on it right down the middle.........................................

I did have an idea about stiffening the hood and taking a molding off of that. Anyone tried??
