No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.

Was in work about 3 months ago, and Tim Shaw walked through the door (he was buying some oak flooring for a new series coming up on renovating properties).

Have to say he's exactly the same in real life as he appears on the show. Genuinely nice bloke who spent 2 or 3 hours sat in the office with us. We naturally asked all the usual stuff; did the people know about their cars, (only 1 apparently), did they really do the cars in the timescales (yes, because owners genuinely didn't know), does he really argue for the discounts, (not to the extent the show makes out but he often walks off with freebie parts for his own cars) etc.

His pride and joy seemed to be a pair of 60's mustangs which he'd restored himself. One a fastback which was more of a daily driver and I think has appeared in the show, and another a notchback that was immaculately resto modded in black.

The girls in the sales office were genuinely bemused as to who he was, no connection with TOWIE or Britains Got Talent I suppose!

Jeep, as the "face" of Jeep he gets them FOC. Nice work if you can get it!

    Indeed!

Still, nice to hear that he's a nice bloke in person - the 'blagging' sections always make me cringe slightly so I had him lumped firmly in the Mike Brewer category; but maybe that's why I always pay through the nose for stuff and don't get freebies!
