    Hard line hydraulic clutch

    Hello,
    Happy new year everyone.

I have my gearbox out at the moment and looking to hardline the master to near the internal slave on the clutch.
I have the girling master and common t56 internal slave. What tube does everyone use? Copper or stainless? 1/4, 6mm? And how to adapt to i think 3/8" unf master on girling.?
Just wondering what everyone else does?
    Regards

On my T56 I used flexible stainless braided PTFE hoses.
If you haven't already make yourself a remote bleed hose for the Internal release bearing too.
    I used -4 hoses, which I guess are 1/4".
You can buy all the hose and fittings inc. adaptors from Torques amongst others.

I used standard copper/nickel brake pipe to the internal slave and then stainless braided out for a remote bleed custom made by earls.

Flexi -4 for me, but drill out the bore in the connector at the throwout bearing end (as it a constriction put in place for lazy Yanks that is pointless)

If using rigid tubing, you will need to have some method of allowing for the movement of the engine/gearbox otherwise you will get metal fatigue somewhere in the line. This is why most folk use flexible hoses.

    Hi,
    Thanks all.
Yes i was going to use a flex at the slave end.
Seems most use the braided stainless teflon tube then what i already have. Just need to check if i put an3 or an4 in...
Jim, i thought the restriction was in the master end?
