    Rover V8 Engine Swap

Is is possible to replace a Rover V8 in a Pilgrim Sumo Mk2 without taking the body off?

I do not have a Pilgrim but I should certainly hope so.
The idea of having to take a body off any Cobra just to change an engine is frankly ridiculous!

It might be a faff but IMHO certainly doable.

That's the trouble with you Sailors, long hair, quick zips and, Oohh, look at the size of that!!

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

Certainly possible on a Mk3 , so I would assume it can be done on the Mk2.

Removing the gearbox from below makes it easier to get the engine out but the effort of getting the gearbox back on, made me remove the whole lot in one go.
