    I'm starting to think this is an option. Either that or just buy a cast manifold and make the down pipe.

    eBay has manifold plates from £10 - £22 and sell all the parts required. Buy all the bits, if you can cut & tack it yourself. Weld it if you can or take it anywhere to be welded. Maybe find a mobile welder who can fit the parts and weld it?

    Yeah - built on a jig and in numbers the costs will come down significantly; the Dax price I quoted was also a built-to-order set, because I'm a difficult bugger and fitted a very unusual engine (for a Dax)
