    Camaro on Top Gear

Did anyone see the Camaro on top gear last weekend?

It seems it's been prevented from entering Europe, basically because it won't pass and IVA test due to the sharp edges on aero wings.

I reckon with some sticky backed foam and edge trim (both of which would be permanent additions to the car of course) we could get it through??

No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.

I thought the same thing... unbolt funny winglets? cover hem up? ... could even even swap over the whole front bumper for that matter...

Not in the spirit of SVA though. I'd imagine some of the importers might have already considered this...

Crazy as the track tor is registered as a Chevrolet Leblanc blazer and free to roam the roads as a 40 year old vehicle at speeds upto 80mph

Yep. Bloody crazy. It’s registered as an old American Chevy blazer truck.

Probably not seen an Iva so simply passed an mot as a ten year or older import.

Makes a joke of everyone trying to do things properly. It’s not like they are even trying to hide it by putting it in national tv for nearly half an hour either.

What makes me laugh is, it failed an MOT on two issues and about 10 advisories.

Then, when it was put back through it's MOT a month later, the two issues had (we assume) been fixed, but all the same advisories were still un-repaired. And they were planning on breaking a Guinness World Record, and imagine LeBlanc's lawyers if there'd been an accident !!!?? They'd have shut the BBC down !
