    Rear View Mirror

Sorting out my list of parts to gather at Stoneleigh this weekend.

Which rear view mirror is the best – Bulkhead mounted or Sliding mirror attached to a centre stay?

    Pro’s & con’s for each? inc a centre stay

I remember reading if using a hardtop it’s better to have a centre stay fitted?

    Who makes the best ones?

I have a Brasscraft wind screen & intend to have a hardtop.

i found the centre stay attached mirror vibrated too much to make the image of what was behind you useless. I ended up fashioning my own fixture, but it only works for no roof at the moment:

So, not really a solution for yourself - probably worth looking at the dash mounted style instead.

Fit a bulkhead mirror from S & J motors , centre stay mirrors will vibrate.
You need the centre stay if fitting a hardtop , Brasscraft are the suppliers.

    Hi Jon

Will the bulkhead mirror pass the IVA?

    Thanks

Hi. I have the bulkhead mirror from S&j and when it arrived it had a removeable rubber edge which was present during IVA and met the radius requirements.

I have the centrestay also which prevents the screen frame from lifting when the soft top is on
