Just on the roll hoops - for an AK you aren't going to get through IVA at Kidderminster without additional sideways triangulation. You can do as Andy has done or mine was accepted with a small bracket added each side as below.

Agree with Kevin . No one would say they will pass IVA level sound level only that the radius pass . If they are so close on passing some additional packing if they are easy to dismantle .

Kevin makes a good point, though perhaps Craig means Custom Chrome were prepared to repack his exhausts, FOC, if they were to fail the IVA db test?

-yup, i think the 'IVA' bit refers to the external radii, but worth checking if they will re-pack for you.

Due to work/holiday/limited test dates I had to wait 10 weeks to get the car retested. But happy to say it passed on Monday. Thanks to everyone for advice given especially the folks at AK. just got to get it registered now...

Excellent! - we got our registration in about 2 weeks from application so hopefully some dry weather left when you get yours.

Great news Andy. I feel inspired to press on with haste now. Bet you've got that chuffed feeling with more than a sprinkling of relief. Well done.
