    garage floor

just about ready to paint the garage floor with 2 pack paint. What's the easiest way of removing the flakey existing stuff. I was thinking about hiring a wooden floor sander!

Not saying it’s the easiest, but I used a stiff bristled yard brush and a vacuum cleaner, followed by an application of acid etch to prep the concrete surface for the paint.

I used a heavy duty tile scraper from screwfix. This got most of it up. I then used a wire brush drill attachment to get the more stubborn bits up.
I used regalpaints 2 pack, and also used their acid etch cleaner.
Really pleased with the floor. I did it a couple of years ago and it's holding up well.
    Cheers
