Exclamation Cranleigh Show - REGISTER NOW!

Cranleigh Classic Car Show and Autojumble Sunday 12 August 2018

I’ve not seen anything about arrangements for this, so I’ve gone ahead and registered the Cobra Club so that everyone attending can park together in a group. If you want to attend, you need to register before July 1st (that’s next Sunday). To register, follow THIS LINK , and use the club code RXIJ5YA. Using the code associates your booking with the club and will give you a parking space in the club area.

I hope that a few others will make it to the show – I’ve only been once before, but there were loads of interesting cars and people there, and vendors selling all sorts of bits and bobs, and it’s all for a good cause too. General info can be found HERE.

Hope to see some other Cobras there...

    Good morning all.

Just a quick reminder and update on registration for the Cranleigh show. The registration deadline has been extended to 8th July (next Sunday). Details on how to register and get a parking spot with the rest of the Cobras are in the first post.

If you can make it, it would be good to see a nice group of cars at the show. Hope to see you there!

    Ben

    Hi to all,
As usual I had already registered our club for the Cranleigh Classic Car show and I'd attempted to put the announcement on our official club forum. However I was unable to do this as that forum is temporarily closed. All I have been able to do is email those people who I’ve contacted in previous years.
I always register us as the Cobra Replica Club UK because that is our officially registered name at Companies House. http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk//compdetails
    We are in Area E4.

There is an important message from the Show Organiser which I repeat below:-
Firstly, we have been advised by Cranleigh Fire Service NOT to have any barbecues on Sunday
due to the dry condition of the showground and surrounding area. This includes the public
car park and the field the show takes place in.

Secondly, Barhatch Road, close to the Cranleigh Showground, is currently closed for gas works,
which means if you are travelling from the Guildford direction you must drive through the
middle of Cranleigh and not via Smithwood Common Road, nor Horseshoe Lane/Amlets Lane.
You can see details of this and other road closures in Surrey using this link:

    Hope to see you there,
    Regards, Don
