    Finishing door seal near dash

    Hi
What’s the best way to finish the door seal on an AK where it meets the dash? If cut off to edge, does it pass iva?
    Cheers

I tucked mine behind the dash.

    I used Sugaru.

For those that have not used Sugaru before it is as it states, a maluable putty like adhesive. I made sure that I poked some down the open end of the rubber section and then simply moulded it to form hardish rubber end cap. It is really easy to get it looking nice and smooth with a little bit of water or spit on a small flat blade.
    I'll post some images later.

    Cheers.

I cut mine off square and used CT1 sealant to seal the end as neat as possible.

I've used it to repair cables (Apple, mostly!) and the like before now - hadn't considered that as a use, but can second it being very easy to work with and get looking professional*

*or on the first cable I tried it on.. just about passable

Sorry for the delay, here are the pictures of my door seals. Somehow the pictures don’t make them look as good as they do in reality
