Got the 7/16" UNC bolts now and they look too big.

The ones I'm after are for the ones on the bottom face on a non-XJ40 diff. Assume they are 5/16" UNC ??

Sean, the inner fulcrum bracket attachment bolts are 7/16” UNC, as Dave has already mentioned. The bottom tie plate is 5/16” UNF; are you fitting a fuel pipe protection plate or something similar? DAX builds don’t appear to require the bottom tie plate....these deets are from the Jag Series III service manual (Dave absorbed this years ago!). Are these definitely the fixings you mean?

Yes, they're the ones - for a protection plate.

It is indeed a Dax and aren't used normally.

    5/16" it is then...

    Many thanks

Cool. Note: 5/16” UNF - could always try a cheap bolt from your local fastners shop before forking out for the Jag bolts, and then paying for the obligatory postage. I’ve done this an odd time if I was short on the original bolts.
