    Radiator Issue

    Hey All

Well the good news is I got my age related plate for the Cobra so she's on the road ... the other news is I'm having an issue with the Rad so she's off the road.
I noticed after taking her out for a drive the front nose was wet and dripping wet! But at first I couldn't see where it was coming from.

As I was topping up the system, I notice some water dripping, it's definitely not the hoses I can see that, it looks like its coming from the rad grill! There's coolant building up at the top!

Hopefully you can see form the pictures what I mean, the second one shows the issue. So question ... does this mean my radiator has had it and any reason why and how this could have happened? The rad is new from pilgrim as part of the kit build?

Appreciate any help or advice on this, what I can do, do I need to replace it etc

Not even covered 100miles and the first things goes wrong :/

Looking at the photos water is coming along the core and not from the edge of the core . Have you mounted your electric fans with push through screwed to the core . You could have over tightened and caused some damage easily done . Unfortunately the only way to find out is remove it and pressure test it to see where the leek is coming from and if small it should be repairable. You can do it your self by submerge the rad in water and pump up the pressure.

On older rads some times you get core shift and the core needs to be replaced or new rad . As yours is new it should be the latter.
