mine have been wrapped for around 10yrs (would assume longer, but only had car for for this amount of time) - re-wrapped them just before Silverstone classic and they are also in perfect condition.

    Gary/Clive,

Can I ask what wrap you used? Just looking to reduce engine bay heat and fuel percolation along with phenolic carb spacer and there seem to be so many wraps available so prefer a personal recommendation......

    Thanks

to be honest, i just bought some 1" wide rolls from local motor factors (as that was all i could get in time) - but i did get a 2" wide roll from a friend (wasn't enough to do all headers - hence the other 1" rolls) - the 2" roll is very similar to this one:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163153017587

So i currently have the two center pipes on each side done in the 2" wide stuff, and the others done in the 1" wide white roll - lol

My suggest - DO NOT GET 1" wide stuff, it's a soddin nuisance to wrap - min width i say is 2".

Hi Andrew, It was so long ago I can't remember!!!
Now going to wrap my side exhausts under the heat shields in 2" and my headers with a tungsten with less wide as it needs to get round corners alot . Will post when returned from a sunny trip to Portugal..
