    Ed,

If you succeed (good luck), your first few posts with photo’s or URL’s will sit in a pile waiting to be moderated (same day normally), this will go away once you have a larger post count.

The problem with that is I've joined as I've bought a chassis project I want to identify. I've now got to post various crap to prove I'm not going to post crap before I post the thing I want to post that isn't crap. Seems logical

Ed it can be frustrating but all forums set the same limits . You will soon notch up the posts asking all the questions you like . You might get some good answers lol

It is very frustrating and for sure it doesn’t work from your IPhone, I stopped trying and ask for a PM with emailadress or app.

Upload your pictures to an image sharing site and then post the URL here.

I've never really understood why so many people have problems posting photos or images on this site - very strange indeed.

My solution is to upload your photos into the Gallery section this forum has, then use the links provided for each image and paste them into your Post:

    1. At top of page, select Gallery
    2. click Upload Photos on the far right a few lines below Gallery
    3. In the Upload Photo section, Select Member Galleries for Category
    a. Select an Album (if you have created one) or None as default
    4. Click a Choose file button - you'll get the standard Windows file browser window appear - choose a file of the correct format (jpg, jpeg or png) click Open
    5. Enter any info in remaining fields if need be
    6. Click Upload/Submit button
    7. Image will be processed, and then appear in middle of screen.
    8. Scroll down and you will see the Photo Details section, with a number of fields to select for different image types to insert into posts
    9. Choose the most suitable one - just click in the relevant field and it select all the text, then Ctrl + C to copy it.
    10. Start new thread, paste copied text into it - ta-da, image should appear.

Never had any issues with the above, other than if file is huge.

    Hope this helps

Hi managed to upload pictures to my albums and gallery but how do I put an image onto a thread. I have tried No 8,9,10 on Gary's thread but no joy.

    Cheers
