    Propshaft Bolts

    Hi all,

I've recently changed to a digital rather than mechanical speedo.

To pick up the signal I was going to use the propshaft bolts but wanted to swap to an allen / socket head rather than the current hex head.

It is a Dax IRS rear with the 4 bolts on the prop. Think they are 3/8" UNF.

    Anyone done the same?

    What did you use?

Assume they have to be high tensile?

OR, is it easy enough picking up a signal off the hex headed bolts?

    Sean,
I turned up some circular spacers as a pick up and used longer bolts.

    Thanks both,

I may try at first with the standard bolts then.

    Many thanks
