Hand brake is ok, assuming it lights the same bulb of course!!
Is a test switch required in the brake warning light circuit for IVA or is the handbrake switch considered sufficient?
Thanks
Simon

As Craig says.
However if you are using a Savage switch for the brake warning light it’s quite easy to also enable the switch function to test the bulb. There’s a diagram in my blog if it helps.

So if you use just one bulb, link it to a positive feed and make the negative feeds from the handbrake switch and brake fluid reservoir this passes IVA.
The tester will just ask you to remove the brake fluid cap to confirm operation.

I didn't realise until my first IVA test that the Sierra reservoir has a built in test switch on the cap.

No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.
The 'hand brake light' is not actually a hand-brake-on light - its a test for you fluid reservoir level! I think most modern cars use this principal, but most people don't realise this.
