    Fuel cap

Hi, I'm after a fuel cap thats vented and will get me through the IVA test, anyone got any suggestions on which one to get, i have Aston style cap at the moment which is under 50mm high but think will fail on the sphere test, any ideas?

If its a US cap, yes it will fail - due to sharp edges.
If its a Brasscraft cap and you go to Gillingham it will fail as it will be claimed it is too high. No problem at most other centres.

The Brasscraft cap is already vented. The inner lockable cap is less obvious: Chris removes the rubber sealing washer so that it cannot seal on the flange.
Again, this is no good at Gillingham, so I drilled a 1mm hole in mine.

Could you not round and polish the cap you have?

Don't forget to tether the internal lockable part with some wire or so or that will be a IVA fail.
