    Suitable clutch for 1965 289 and a T5 gearbox.

Any recomendations for a clutch that wouldn't require a servo? (Ram Cobra)

Check out Real Steel, bought ours for our 66 Mustang restoration off the shelf there, even had the correct release bearing in the kit for the T5 we were using.
Converted our operation to hydraulic and it is nice and light

Im builing Dax with ,65 289 tuned
4 speed toploader using 11” fairly stock clutch for now with hawk bracket and slave actuating factory fork.
Nice and light with .75 master and .70 slave, plenty of leverage and light. Engages/disengages fine Untested though. I think with dax pedal box desighn you get lots of leverage aswell
The old school 11” clutch has more surface area than the 10.5
That dies mean bigger bell housing and flywheel.
Fork clears the chassis rail just
