    Ok, lots of guessing, and lots of incorrect info.

    The fog must only be able to be switched on with either dip or main beam headlights (Not side lights)
    You do not need a fancy device. If you have a tell tale on the dash/switch the show when it is on.

    If the examiner thinks you do need the fancy device then he hasn't read the memo from his bosses on this issue, and he is wrong.

    All the above clarified by "The tester's boss" in Swansea.

    Ah ok, oh well im going with the above, but take it all on board, if it fails it fails. Sounds a bit grey, well, confusing to the examiners anyway. Thanks Dave, and everyone, everyone sit down now and drink some tea.

    on another IVA point, with regard to the dash warning lights, i have the usual 6. DO THEY have to be in full view in the normal driving position, ie not obscured by the steering wheel rim, as im currently mocking up a dash arrangement.
