    I don't think spax were ever standard fitment on a cortina.
    I could be wrong. You might want to talk to Pilgrim direct to be sure before spending money.

    Thanks Kevin. Just to clarify, I meant an aftermarket cortina spec shock - made by the likes of Spax/Gaz etc.

    Current pilgrim owners have no info on the earlier cars.... to be fair I doubt uncle den would know.... his spring colour codes painted on the wall were probably painted over

    Providing the std spec spring fits, then the damper length & weight will be the same as a pinto cortina. I can’t see any logical reason why it should be different to ford mountings/bolts etc but just wanted to check.
