    Lexus fuel injectors

Anyone changed the injectors on a 1uz engine. If so do you have the part number for a suitable replacement. Just rang Lexus and they quoted £240 + vat for one which is crazy. Clearly they don't want the business hassle.

They seem to be about half that in the US (plus shipping, plus duty), or a quarter of that for Chinese knock-offs from eBay..

Its possible somewhere like JapanParts (http://www.japanparts.com) might be able to get them from Lexus Japan cheaper, although they're about to close for a public holiday for 10 days..

[edit] If it helps, you can look up part numbers here: https://lexus-europe.epc-data.com/ls...ne/2211/23250/

There's also ToyoDIY: https://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ - but I think it's harder to get to the diagrams there now than it was, so the other link might be better.

Have you considered trying one of the Lexus specific breakers? Clearly, they'll be used items but I'm sure you could get a few as spares for the cost of one new injector.
    http://www.lexusbreakers.co.uk/ - one I found via Google.

One of the upgrades that you will need to think about if you are going twin turbo is the injectors. I believe the simple one was to use the supra injectors and might be a cheaper option for you. PM Tony D he will have the info somewhere because he has looked into doing this.

Early engine Injectors were purple and have a lower maximum flow rate than the later green injectors which are good for up to 6 psi boost. If you are looking for more aftermarket/ replkacement injectors are required and I believe that Mazda rotary injectors are a plug and play solution.

Other injectors can fit but may require a plastic lug shaving off either the injector itself or the connecting plug. Either way you will be going standalone ecu so may be better to ask the ECU supplier what they recommend.

    Cheers,

Here's the part number for the earlier purple ones 23250-50010

I bought these remanufactured ones from the US (£100 delivered for 8 ) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FEO-Denso...frcectupt=true

But I only bought them at all because I couldn't find a rebuild kit. I see these are now available for £18.50 (kit is for 8 ): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Top-Feed-...frcectupt=true
