    Finishline fan motor

    Hi guy's, does anyone have a spare one of mine has failed after 10 years service
    Is there somewhere in the UK I can get them

    I have two MGB fan motors that I intended to use to create the original style fans on mine - they're not identical (they don't have studs out the front for mounting) but I think could be adapted to suit if you split the core and replaced the screws that hold the nose casing on with studs.. they're available in the UK readily.

    Failing that .. if you're willing to wait a little, there's chance to get them put on a container that should leave Miami on the 29th which would probably make shipping cheaper..

    Might take you up on that as $45 motor with postage, duty & vat is about £110!!!!
    Back in the day I paid £65 for the whole kit

    Yeah - I nearly ordered two motors from Finishline earlier, but decided I'd stick with the MGB ones given the cost! It's a post-IVA job, anyway, as there's a 19" puller fan the other side of the rad for actual cooling..
