    Gardner Douglas Mk4 - 480 bhp

    Probably the best handling Cobra recreation available. This British manufactured sports car has a backbone chassis which endows it with superb handling to cope with the immense power. First registered in March 2017 (17 plate). Professionally built 5.7 litre V8 Chevrolet LS6 engine producing 480 bhp and 611 Nm Torque. 6 speed Tremec Magnum gearbox. BTR Hydrotrak LSD. Stainless under floor exhaust. Adjustable suspension. 0-60 in around 3.6 seconds. Top speed reputed to be 160 mph. Never used on track. Less than 2,400 dry miles from new. Built on factory produced rolling chassis (Euro chassis), with uprated disc brakes and pads. 18" Halibrand style wheels, with Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres. White body with metallic grey broad stripes and red outer pin stripes. Twin stainless steel roll hoops connected directly to chassis via all three legs of each hoop. Other built-in safety features to the body. Black leather interior with red stitching. 4 point harnesses. Heated seats. Adjustable leather covered steering wheel. Button start and a wide selection of instruments on the dashboard. Immobiliser. Programmable ECU. Trip meter x 2, 0-60 measurement timer, 1/4 mile timer, peak speed memory via speedo.     Wife pressure! "Who needs three cars" she says. S90 is day to day and a great car,
    so that stays. Boxster is more practical than Cobra but slower . Unfortunately the Boxster wins as she who must be obeyed will go in it. Still a lot of fun though .
