    Heart 200

Following on from the successful NC500 route, a new 200 mile touring route in Central Scotland has been announced. Taking in many roads that I have travelled in my 289, it offers some excellent driving roads without having to travel to the North of Scotland.

Drove a little bit of it today. Out through Glen Devon and Gleneagles and back via Glenfarg & Kinross. Looking forward to longer drives this summer.

... As long as it doesn't become clogged with camper vans and cyclists!

Oi! Nothing wrong with campervans! Cyclists however?
Had my converted Toyota Granvia for a few years now and even been to Spa and Le Mans in it to give the cobra a rest.
To be honest to give Julie a rest. Think I might try that in the cobra and pop past for a wee cup of tea at yours Clive....

There are good cyclists and bad ones, just the same as good and bad drivers (campervan drivers included).
Looking at the route, I'm not sure it's aimed at the cycle tourist as it follows a lot of big trunk roads. If there are parallel cycle paths then there shouldn't be a problem for anyone enjoying it.
