    AK Polo Heater hoses

I am about to do the final fit of my body.
I was wondering do I need to fit the heater feed pipe to the polo heater before the body goes on?
It looks like it would be tricky to get at once the body is on.
The reason for asking is I’ve ordered the samco hoses but it doesn’t look like they will arrive before my lifting party does…

    Cheers

    Mike.

    Hi,
Although a bit tricky the hoses will go on after the body is on.
If you have had the engine compartment st.st. lined now is a good time to remove the protective film. It's **"£$^%£ awkward afterwards!
    Have a good party.

It's **"£$^%£ awkward without the body on!

Depending on your engine choice..... You have fitted the air pipe to the cabin off the heater haven’t you??

Recent experience says I'll second that.............!!

The covering sticks to the SS like the proverbial **** to a blanket and finding a starting point from which to pull it from isn't easy (but that may have been the wrong glasses and the lack of finger nails..........!!

I took a different approach with the heater and fitted a couple of 'fly' hoses to the heater inlet and outlet. They were fiddly to connect to the main heater hoses with the body on because they were so close to the chassis cross member (Gen 3)

    Cheers Chaps,

My heater hose has arrived so I'll stick it on before dropping the body on.
I've removed the SS covering. Was actually pretty easy but it was a nice hot day. I'm sure this helped.
Yes I am drawing air from the cabin....
My only other question is should I put drain holes in the floor pan under the tub.
I'm using the neoprene type seal and I recon water will get in there...
