That’s one of the few things you have to give the Americans credit for - customer service is awesome,. Sorry I binned the fibreglass ones now, they would have been handy to play with before committing to the cost of the ali dash! .....doh!

Yep, can't fault Bob (although he's a Brummie transplant to the US, I won't hold that against him! ) - replacement wheel arrived and now, if I can get the original one welded and spun, I've got a spare front.. no worries on the glass ones, if/when I go down that road I can always splash my own off the an alu one Still, first job is to get it finished and IVA'd.. which reminds me to chase the engine.

According to Facebook .. not much has changed in 3 years! Although it has, it's all stuff you can't really see (wiring looms, etc). It edges forward, slowly but surely.. it should fire up and run with the addition of an engine and exhausts.

I have seriously considered just paying someone to finish it .. but that requires money I don't really have, and at this point I'm not sure there's even anyone left building Daxes (beside Dax) - Dave is busy with his beautiful replicas, Anthony is busy with Crendon, etc.

If I'm lucky, it might be on the road before they ban petrol engines..
