    Fitting exhaust escutcheons.

I’m going to get some stainless ones made but can’t bring myself to drill the body to fit with either rivets or bolts. Would double sided 3M tape be suitable given the proximity to heat? Don’t want to use Sikoflex as they might need to come off one day!

I pondered fitting these at the time and decided it looks so much better without. So sorry no help with the fitting methods but think before deciding to fit them.

    Quad or single collector?

For my single we cut the bottom off a stainless pet water bowl. Lovely bevelled edge and it fastens inside the body.

I’ve been thinking about it for about the last 10 years. Do you think that’s long enough?

Its easy to over bling and personally just enough shiny is enough.

I’ll probably keep staring at exhaust trim rings at the next show i guess!

Getting back to the point though, would 3M tape be ok to fit them?
