I’m sure you will get dozens of different answers but whatever I have tried I always go back to Peek Cleaning Polish, works for me!

I don't think I've cleaned my car for over five years. I just love the patina!

I use white vinegar on the windscreen, chrome and stainless. It's non smear, good and cheap. I wouldn't use too much solvol or similar abrasive products on the chrome parts, you may rub through the chrome.

I appreciate chrome- and stainless- are different materials, but I was told by Nottingham Platers to only wipe chrome-work with WD40 sprayed on to a new/clean 'stockinette' or cotton cloth. He was pretty insistent that cleaning products shouldn't be used.

I always like the old household tip of cleaning glass with slightly soapy water (maybe with a drop of vinegar in it) and polishing off with screwed up newspaper.

I use Peek or Autosol for all the stainless and aluminum (Not on Chrome!)
And Greased lightning or similar waterless wax product for everything else
    including glass

I use Meguiars NXT metal polish for wheels. Best results using a drill on a buffer and also for stainless parts. Wheels look like mirror finish and you don't need a lot. I used to use autosol but you have to work it and I don't think the final results are as good.

Apply discount code gets it down to £7.30
