    Boss Motor Company

I came across this advert on Pistonheads, I'm definitely not interested in buying one (don't like it), but does anyone know anything about Boss Motor Company? They claim to be the official partner of AC Cars Ltd??

These cars are manufactured in South Africa. Claims to be AC ? Also has a GM engine ! I see them just as another replica manufacturer trying to get a A.C. stamp and command a premium price. For the same price there are far better options . DB aluminum body chassis with a Ford engine. I know which one I would look at.

Andy you just beat me to the post haha

I totally agree Jon, that's how I saw it! Just trying to charge a premium for a very average product.

Maybe I'm a cynic, but isn't that a HiTech/Superformance bodyshell (modified a little bit round the fuel cap etc)....that just happens to also be in Port Elizabeth SA?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hi-Tech_Automotive

Exterior looks good, but I don't like the interior.
You can buy official AC licensing for a price, and so that's what adds an extra £20k on I guess.

Strange that there are no chassis pics given it claims its got a twin drain pipes ladder frame.
No engine pics either - is it just a roller in the pics?

    Its a grp body btw.

Good luck to them, I say. Although for that money I'd be going with a DB 289FIA product, with paint and FIA Historic paperwork.

They are listed as an official dealer https://www.accars.eu/dealerships/.

Although bear in mind that all including originals come with an LS Chevy motor now, great strong engine so that makes mine very, very close to an original with a 50K saving!

Wow I have an official AC dealer on my door step. They look like a main dealer. I might pop along and ask the question if they have any stock lol
