    Have you tried insulating the fuel line? I think it was Eggbert who did this recently.
    Its on my list of things to do one day.

    It could be fuel or ignition, so you need to find which one it is. Next time the engine stops remove the air filter and open the throttle. If fuel squirts out of the accelerator pump nozzle into the venturi then you know there's fuel in the primary float bowl - in which case the fault is probably in the ignition system. If no fuel squirts out, then you know it's a fuel problem.

    If it's an ignition problem, then in my experience the most likely cause of an intermittent problem like this is a bad connection on the low tension side - check all wires and connections carefully.

    Well, I checked the fuel pressure and found it was only 3psi. I’ve been told it should be 6-7psi. I adjusted it up and ran it up to temp. Seems fine but it’s not a queue on the m25 in the middle of the day.......we’ll see.....
