Rear brake calipers bolts. No holes for wire locking

I have removed both rear brake caliper bolts from a Dana 44 differential and the bolts do not have wire locking holes. Only lock tight was used from the factory going by the condition of the bolts.

Has anyone else come across brake caliper bolts without holes for wire locking?

If there are no lock wire holes, you don't need to fit lockwire. No new cars have lockwire. If there are lockwire holes, you must lockwire them. You can't mix 1 bolt with and 1 without.

None on mine, XJS Dana, no holes in the bolts and next to impossible to get to even if you wanted to,

That's reassuring. I tried to find any Jaguar manual or spares suppliers showing no hole bolts. I am the stage of rebuilding brakes and handbrake mechanism. Centralising the discs when they arrive.
