    Soft top options...

I am looking at touring next year, so I need to sort out a soft top.

Anyone recommend who can supply and fit, within the Midlands ideally please?

Bought parts from Europa and fitted to my old Sumo myself, easy enough and not a bad fit

Has anyone fitted the Europa hood to a Crendon or AK body?

Or indeed a Hawk? I’m also interested in a hood and like the sound of the zip in sidescreens versus the metal framed Hawk items.

    Hi.
I ordered the Europa soft top a couple of months ago to see if it would fit my AK but unfortunately it is to narrow for the AK body. The chap at Europa did say that he thought it would not fit. Returned it not fitted an alternative yet.

Disappointing, but also surprising, givne I think, it fits a Dax. Was it a problem hooking round roll over bars or ....?

It cleared the roll bars. The problem was the actual top, even if you could modify the frame (which was also to narrow) the fabric was made for a narrower car. The windscreen, from memory was OK it was just the back part.

As I mentioned the man at Europa thought it would not fit.

    Regards
