IVA and sheet metal edges on exterior

    Me yet again !
I would like to check on peoples experience of having a rubber U-trim firmly glued to a sheet metal or thin edges on the exterior of the car for IVA rules ?
The book talks about having 180 degree return edges which my sheet metal louvers have and not having double sided tape, pipe lagging etc but I am wondering if it is ok to have a nice rubber trim on a curved metal edge to protect it if it is firmly glued on?

    Thanks !

if you mean engine bay side vents, I just used the standard ones without any issues, even at Gillingham.
