    Front indicators

So, slightly odd one this. Bought the car built....and noticed yesterday that the lower half of the front indicator lenses are rather dull. Mmmm, dirt getting in, I'll give them a clean. I then discover that they have actually been painted. Not to make them look like smoked glass out anything like that, opaque thick black paint. Now, just before I try and get it off, or, failing that, replace them, can anyone think of a reason for doing it?

It's all to do with minimum height that the indicators must be for the IVA test, One way around it is to just paint out the bottom half of the lens rather than just raise the ride height.

Yes that’s why, I had brackets for the height on my DAX, just change for what you want.

Knew there'd be something behind it. Cheers all. I'll have a go at cleaning them up, or replace.
