    Moto-lita steering wheel mounting

I picked up a cheap wooden steering wheel from eBay recently. It fits on my Moutney boss ok once I drill some more holes which is handy.
However I dont have a centre cap and cannot fathom out how they fit and are retained, do I need a special mount or do they just jam in place somehow ?
I want to make sure I buy the right thing as they are pretty costly.

iirc, they fit between the boss and the wheel so are sandwiched together

So my boss has a raised ring that the wheel fits on to centre it and is fairly snug, so do you fit the centre cap first and then slide the wheel over it?
