    Number Plate Lights

I have seen on the 'Car builders' site some LED lamps which can be used to fix and illuminate the rear number plate.

Does any think or know if these would be acceptable for the IVA examination.

They are little barrel shaped things with the led facing sideways to light up the number plate from both sides.

    Any comments please.

    These ones?

    https://www.carbuilder.com/uk/number...hrome-led-17mm

and again on their ebay site

Like them a lot and would go nicely with the "smooth" boot I have in mind.

Not sure about IVA though they do stick out but not a lot, hopefully someone with better knowledge of the rules will be along.

Yes, exactly those. (I must figure out how to get that link in).

I don't think they stick out any further than the conventional central overhead lamp.

I'll wait for opinion on IVA

As the car is presented at IVA without a number plate, would they need to be fitted at the time?

Yes already on my "I want" list. Just don't tell the boss, she thinks we'll only be driving in daylight!

Thanks - I went with a Duplex single column stacking lift (DP210 with left hand column, Removable Centre Section (RCS), single phase electrics, standard colour). I bought it 10 years since so suspect they have moved on now. I used Total Lifting Solutions.
