    Email from VOSA regarding IVA

Hopefully someone can help me to understand if the below is normal when applying for IVA.

I got an email on Monday saying my application had been assessed and instructing me to phone up and pay.

I did this, but didn't book the test at that point as AK are taking it for IVA.

This evening I received an automated email from "vosa_admin" stating the following:

"Thank you for your recent application for a IVA BAS M1 CAT.A,C,S TEST for your vehicle/trailer. Due to the nature of your booking this has been referred to the DVSA Testing and Support Services (TaSS) in Swansea"

Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

I'll probably call in the morning to check, but it'll be bothering me all night now!

Just to answer my own question in case it crops up for anyone else.

    I called DVSA to check.

This is a normal email and just means payment has been received and the car is ready to be booked in for IVA.

I think they could do better with their email wording to avoid confusion/misunderstanding!
