    I found the circuit diagram for the tachometric relay on the web - I’ve got a copy in the garage that I could take a piccy of if anyone’s interested - no idea how to get it on here though!

    This is the fitting out of my old Facet pump. you can see they thread in. If you think the pump is lost anyway, you could try cutting into the top of the aperture with a Dremel disc or a hacksaw to give a grove to screw it out with a large screwdriver.
    If it comes out, and matches this one, i'll send it over. There's bound to be a petrol proof sealant, that hopefully someone could recommend, to seal up the damage to the top of the fitting?
    Unless the whole port has sheared off??

    The new pumps, (I got a Facet Silvertop from Demon Tweaks with all the fittings for an RV8 on SU's and its going well) have a larger thread in the ports!?

    Fuel pump update,

    After your comment Russ, l had a better look at the pump.
    Its a Huco and the oulet is replaceable, cost 5.95, just found a supplier!
    I was so fed up when it happened l didnt look properly.
