For the relay any one of about 30A rating will do (sub £5).
For the fuel pump, that one might (should) work, looks like a cheap version of a Facet Red Top (£70ish) which I used to run when I had an RV8 fitted.

Hi all,
First of a few posts l think.
I need to get a new electric pump(RV8 with edelbrock) as there was a leak from an outlet hose and when l tried to tighten it it snapped off!
1st question,
Is this type suitable, I seem to remember spending a lot more when l bought the first one?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bearmach-...IAAOSwLqFV9cFV
2nd question,
In the past l had to bridge 2 teminals in the relay for the pump to work, I assume that means a new relay needed?
I found these
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fuel-Inje...e/130864111485
and these original purple ones
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-F...8AAOSw4c5b2HNs
Is the first one suitable as its a lot cheaper?
Hopefully this time l can manage to complete it!!
Thanks in advance
Steve
Cheers
Steve
When will it ever be finished??!
Hopefully better luck 2nd time round!!!!!!
Or now the 4th time round......!!

Thanks for that Jim
I'm not that up on relays, I have some lying around in the garage so do you mean if they have that rating and pin configuration any relay will be compatible?
Re the fuel pump, it's a very long time ago but I think l spent at least that on this one from Real Steel.
It's a bit annoying as the car hasn't even made it on the road and the pump has to be replaced.
On a sidenote, my fuel pipes were new, they say suitable for unleaded. Will they be ok for Iva?
I've seen comments about needing SAE J30 R6 pipe
In answer to your question, Yes. Don't use and indicator relay - although I doubt they'd have the same pinout. There is usually a schematic printed on the case of the relay showing the internal components with the associated pin numbers.
Is your fuel pump not repairable? If it's just a hose tail that has snapped then you should be able to find a replacement.

I used a Facet pump and put in a tachometric relay when I put my Mk2 together - runs the pump for a couple of secs at ignition on, runs the pump whilst the engine is running and then stops the pump when the engine stops even with ignition still on (i.e. if you’ve crashed it).
Hi Steve.
I have a new, unused Facet 480530K fuel pump kit (the same as this one) - I was about to put it up on eBay for around £70. It's the red top Gold-Flo 476459E pump rated at 35 US gals/hr, plus the unions, mounting rubbers and a spare filter.
If you're interested, I could bring it along to the next Thames Valley meet - Sunday 20th October at The Swan in Three Mile Cross.

Russ,
I'll check but I didn't notice any part that could be replaced. It looks like part of the top moulding that snapped.
Ken,
Thanks for the links
Phil,
That would be just my luck to crash on the first outing after 15yrs😩
Alan,
Cheers that might be an idea, presumably that's much better quality than the one I'm looking at. Is that what most people fit nowadays?
I haven't been to many meets and not for years either.
Is there a good turn out, will many people be in Cobras
What time ?
