    Dax dashboard

    Hi.

When Dax were DJ Sportscars they offered a choice of dashboards. Currently I have the 'standard' dashboard but I want to change if for the more original looking one with the flat bottom. JK Sportscars now don't offer a choice so it seems.
Does anyone have one they would like to sell please?

    Thanks,

    David.

I made up a mould for a replacement dash for my old Dax.

It has a rounded bottom edge

Is this the style you are after?

Why not use what you have as a guide and make a plywood dashboard?

You would need to screw some ali angle or similar along the lower edge to ensure its sufficiently stiff, but not difficult.

I have a few different style DAX dashboards in my loft, do you want me to bring them to the next meet. At worst they could be modified or used to make a buck from. Just thought it might give a few options for you. Regards, Pete.

    Hi Pete.

I'll give you a bell over the weekend and I'll come up to see you. Or I can come to your meet although it will be Cobraless. She's in a million bits right now!
Not sure when the next Wessex meet will be. Would like to keep it going through the winter months but without having a serviceable Snake at the moment coupled with the weather.........we'll see.
