    Triple splitter

I’m thinking of getting three lengths of 20mm diameter stainless steel, welding nuts into the end of them, drilling holes in the inner wings and fitting them to create a triple splinter in the nose of my AK.

    Anyone else tried something similar?

    Must pass IVA.

Not keen grills (or spending lots money).
    Regards

No, I'm not "repairing" it, I'm fine tuning its performance.

    Hi Craig,

Any reason you can't fit a single splitter like the one sold by AK?

Maybe you prefer the look of the triple?

    Cheers

Some of our chums in Sheffield used wardrobe hanging rail for the horizontal bars in the nose. Tended to be oval in section silver anodised alloy and looked the part. B&Q sort of costs.

I used some chrome copper pipe and threaded bar with rivnuts to centre the bar in the chrome pipe. then made a stainless steel bracket to bolt on to inner arch. I used 2 lengths of chrome pipe.

I got some 25mm st/st pipe, polished it up and welded brackets and offset them on the threaded bar that holds the front bumper in position. Passed IVA no problem
