Should of said, lift is in East Sussex.
I've an old (but had little use) strongman scissor lift for sale. No longer needed. Collection would need a beaver tail trailer or similar. I'm not about much so bring two strong backs to remove from garage!
Looking for £500.
Cheers
Richard

Assuming Dek is interested can I have second dibs please if it does not work out
Classic Replica Viper currently in build
Hi if not I am interested thanks
Hi guys,
Dek gets first dibs obviously and I'll work my way down the list if needed.
Dek has asked some questions and I thought I'd share with everyone just in case he decides that its not suitable for his needs.
The lift is hydraulic, but the 'safety mechanism' is pneumatic. Basically air is needed to release the mechanical safely to lower the lift once the hydraulic motor has raised the platform. A baby compressor is all that's needed - its just lifting a release mechanism. I ran it off a single phase 13 amp plug - perhaps a dedicated 'commando' 16amp plug and socket might be required depending on your environment - its a biggish motor so not something to run off a weedy extension lead!
The lift is in central Brighton. Looking on the strongman web site their most similar current model weights 550kg (https://sm-t.co.uk/product/montford-...-scissor-lift/) so that would give you an idea if your trailer would do the job.
If you want to know anything else, happy to help.
Cheers
Richard

Oh god, my worst nightmare. There's no edit button so I can't fix my "your" to "you're". I shall go and sit in the corner of the English class with the pointy hat on.
