    chevy 350 oil leak

    Hi
I've noticed oil the top of my chevy 350, just under the dizzy. I ran it up to temp on the weekend and can see that it's coming out of the connection where you take the oil pressure.
I'm using a standoff here, that I then use to make a connection to oil pressure sensor and oil pressure light.
The standoff is the correct fitting and is screwed in well. Any ideas what I can do to stop the leak?

    Thanks

    Pete

Been covered before. Search “Leaking oil sensor” and you’ll find the answer. Good luck in stopping it.

It is more than likely the inlet manifold rear gasket seal leaking. Well renowned for it leaking from there

Yes, do check the inlet manifold at the back of the engine near the oil sensor. I had exactly the same problem solved with new inlet manifold gasket and a good quality sealant "the right stuff" recommended by an engine builder. There are a couple of good videos on YouTube that cover this job.
