Delayed response I know, but thanks for all the advice. I’ll have a go at what Tony suggested.

    Hi All
Reading with interest, an old thread I know.
Just about to embark on this strip and DIY refurb.
Would it be wise to replace all the bolts?
    Anyone know the bolt Torque?

    Thanks

I am sure there is a torque figure out there somewhere, but without that I would stick to between 50-70 inch pounds. Be careful not to damage the large O ring seals unless you intend to replace them. And when separating the components, do yourself a favour and don’t use a screwdriver. Use something very blunt and very soft like Perspex or Bakelite. Otherwise you could do some permanent damage.
