Snakes and Ladders with IVA question

Well....it worked with a little help from her indoors keeping it all SAFE
no bodyshell flex on lift off

IVA Question on wheels protuding from bodywork

As this will be my first attempt at the new IVA regulations
I want to clear up something

Can the tyre sidewall still stick out a little IF the tyre tread remains under the bodyshell as viewed from the top looking down?
All my old Q-plate builds passed with the old regulations

    Blast..........

Looks like I'll be doing the same to my rear wings as you have done Kuga
A bit of cutting and glassfibre work to make those 295 tyres sit flush
All this hassle for seeing 1/2" of sidewall - a look that I like.

I don't like like wing extension flares but maybe this is a way around that point?

You also need the right look from the side. With the wheels protruding the body to tyre distance needs accommodate the suspension travel. With 295 which are large but I have seen these on Rams ,and Unique Autocrafts under the wheel arch. Are the wheel offsets correct? Just a thought?

I had this problem and fitted some rubber spats which satisfied the IVA inspector and were easily removed. I still have a roll of the stuff I used you’re welcome to have.
